Reporting Time/Place

You must arrive at the Khasab port or office according to your preferred time. Along with the visa check at the border, the drive from Dubai to Khasab takes about 3.5 hours. 10:00 am Dhow Cruise Departs

Emirate IDs for residents must be valid for 90 days.
Swimwear to go swimming and snorkeling.
For added protection, apply sunscreen and sunglasses.
If you would rather have your own snorkeling equipment, it is also available on the boat.
Sea sickness pills and other prescription drugs that are required.

UAE Residents

Residents of the UAE must have a valid passport and a valid UAE resident visa for three months. Please inform us of your visa status prior to departure.

Tourist across the world

Tourists across the world can visit Khasab Musandam if they are eligible for an on-arrival visa for Oman and the UAE. Visas to Oman are free, depending on your country. The exit fee from the UAE is 35 AED per person. See our guidelines page for further details.

Visa Requirements

Keep your original passports valid for a minimum of 3 months while traveling to Oman. You can apply online at the Oman e-visa website or obtain a visa at the border.

Rental Cars

Please obtain a NOC (No Object Certificate) from your rental company before departing for Khasab, Oman. Without a NOC letter from the rental agency, the border authorities will not let you enter Oman.

Personal Cars

You are allowed to drive your own vehicle. You must have a valid driving license and a valid car registration (mulkya).
Without a NOC, you are not permitted to borrow a car from friends, family, or your employer in order to travel to Khasab, Oman.
For 100 AED, you can purchase Oman auto insurance at the border.
