Detailed Itinerary: Khasab Beach Camping
Step 1: Arrival & Reporting Time
09:30 AM or 04:30 PM Reporting Time: It is recommended to leave around 6:00 a.m. for the morning day cruise and the following night on the campsite. Leave at 1 p.m. If you choose a 05:00 p.m. schedule, first at the campsite, and on your second day a full-day dhow cruise is planned. If you are coming from Dubai, it takes 3 to 3.5 hours to reach Khasab, including the border processing.
Step 2: Set Sail Into the Fjords
10:00 AM Departure from the port: We depart around 10:00 a.m. from the port. Khasab port itself presents such a fantastic view of its surroundings. If you join us for a full-day dhow trip, make sure you arrive on time. Our team will greet you when you arrive and will provide you soft drinks, plain water, coffee, and tea. Now is the time to start this beautiful voyage that you will surely remember for the rest of your life.
Step 3: Dolphin Watching & Wild Life
10:45 AM Dolphin Watching: Dolphins are among the most fascinating marine animals, and spotting them in their natural habitat is one of the highlights of a Musandam cruise. As you sail through the beautiful fjords, you may see wild dolphins swimming alongside or near the dhow. Dolphin watching is a natural and exciting experience, with each sighting depending on the conditions and the dolphins’ movements. If they appear and follow the boat for a while, it can turn an already beautiful cruise into a truly memorable experience.
Step 4: First Snorkeling & Swimming Stop
11:30 AM Swimming at Telegraph Island: Telegraph Island is a beautiful spot for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Musandam Fjords. Explore the clear waters, coral reefs, and colorful fish around the island. We provide life jackets and snorkeling equipment for your safety and convenience. Please bring your own swimwear or shorts.
Step 5: Traditional Onboard Lunch
01:00 PM Lunch onboard: After enjoying some time in the water, you can relax and enjoy a freshly served lunch on board. We serve a traditional Omani-style meal with fried chicken, fried rice, salad, Khubz (Arabic bread), hummus, fresh fruits, and soft drinks.
Step 6: Seebi Island: Swimming & Snorkeling
01:30 PM toward Seebi Island: Once you have lunch, we head to Seebi Island, where you can relax and enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the calm, clear waters. Take your time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views before we continue the cruise.
Step 7: Welcome to Your Secluded Beach Campsite
04:00 PM Campsite Drop-off: After enjoying swimming and snorkeling at Seebi Island, we will leave for the campsite. Here, the full-day dhow cruise will come to an end, and campsite fun will start. We’ll transfer you from the dhow to our speedboat, which will take you comfortably to the campsite. The staff will welcome you to the campsite and guide you through the camping arrangements accordingly.
Step 8: BBQ Dinner at the Campsite
7:00 PM BBQ Dinner: If it is not too windy, you can enjoy the live BBQ at the campsite around 7:00 p.m. We also serve you ready-to-eat barbecue food. For dinner, you can have chicken tikka, chicken kebab, beef kebab, grilled fish, rice, Arabic bread, fresh salad, hummus, and vegetable curry.
Step 9: Morning Breakfast
7:30 AM Breakfast at the campsite: You will be provided with a breakfast on the campsite the following morning that includes bread, scrambled eggs, jam, yogurt, bottled juices, plain water, coffee, and tea.
Step 10: Speedboat Return & Farewell
8:30 AM Arrival at Khasab Port: The camping excursion will come to an end after breakfast. A speedboat will take you back to Khasab Dhow Port, marking the end of your trip. We’ll say goodbye with beautiful memories and hope to welcome you again on another spectacular journey.
