Musandam Dhow Cruise from Dubai — Full Day Experience

A Musandam dhow cruise is one of the most popular day-long activities in the area that brings together nature lovers, families, and adventure seekers from all corners of the globe.

09:30 AM – Reporting Time at Khasab Port

The border-crossing journey from Dubai to Khasab, Musandam, usually takes around 3.5 hours, so travelers coming from Dubai are advised to depart by 6:00 AM. Please ensure you reach the designated meeting point by 9:30 AM. Upon arrival, our staff will receive you and guide you smoothly toward the dhow.

10:00 AM – Departure of Musandam Dhow Cruise

At approximately 10:00 AM, the Musandam dhow cruise departs from Khasab Port. Enjoy stunning views of the harbor, rugged mountains, and crystal-clear waters as the journey begins. Once onboard, our crew will welcome you with refreshments, including soft drinks, mineral water, tea, and coffee. Relax on the traditional dhow as we sail into the heart of the Musandam fjords.

10:45 AM – Dolphin Watching Experience

One of the highlights of the Musandam dhow cruise is dolphin watching. These intelligent and friendly creatures are often seen swimming alongside the dhow as it cruises through the fjords. There is a very high chance of spotting dolphins, making this an exciting and memorable experience for all guests.

11:30 AM – Swimming & Snorkeling at Telegraph Island

Our first snorkeling stop is Telegraph Island, one of the most famous snorkeling spots in Musandam. Guests can swim and snorkel in clear turquoise waters, discovering colorful fish and coral reefs. Snorkeling equipment and life jackets are provided onboard. Please remember to bring your own swimwear or shorts.

01:00 PM – Traditional Lunch on Board

After the water activities, enjoy a freshly prepared traditional Omani lunch served onboard the dhow. The meal typically includes fried chicken, fried rice, fresh salad, khubz (Arabic bread), hummus, fruits, and soft drinks, allowing you to dine while surrounded by scenic fjord views.

01:30 PM – Cruise Towards Seebi Island

After lunch, the Musandam dhow cruise continues toward Seebi Island, another peaceful location ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Enjoy the calm waters and marine life at this second stop before relaxing on deck.

04:00 PM – Return to Khasab Port

At around 2:30 PM, we depart Seebi Island and begin sailing back toward Khasab Port. The full-day Musandam dhow cruise concludes around 4:00 PM, leaving you with unforgettable memories of fjords, dolphins, snorkeling, and a truly unique sea adventure.

Keep original passports valid for 90 days.
Emirate ID for residents is valid for 90 days.
Swimwear for snorkeling and swimming activities.
Sun protection cream and sunglasses for extra protection.
Snorkeling gear if you prefer your own (also available on the boat).
Seasickness tablets and other necessary medication.

UAE Residents

UAE residents must have a 3-month valid UAE resident visa and a 3-month valid passport. Kindly let us know your visa status before traveling.

Tourist across the world

Tourist from all over the world can visit Khasab Musandam if they are eligible for on arrival visa for Oman and UAE. Oman visa is free depends on your nationality. UAE exit fee is 35 AED each person. For more info visit our guidelines page.

Visa Requirements

Keep your original passports valid for a minimum of 3 months while traveling to Oman. You can obtain a visa at the border or apply online at the Oman e-visa website.

Rental Cars

Please obtain a NOC (No Object Certificate) from your rental company before departing for Khasab, Oman. Without a NOC letter from the rental agency, the border authorities will not let you enter Oman.

Personal Cars

You can travel with your personal car. You must have a valid driver’s license and a valid car registration (mulkya).
To travel to Khasab, Oman, you cannot borrow a car from friends, family, or your employer without a NOC.
You can purchase Oman auto insurance for 100 AED at the border.

Safety

We ensure safe boating:

Life jackets are available to guests for protection while swimming.
The first aid kit is always available in case of a medical emergency.
The boat is equipped with fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
On the boat, wash your hands and use sanitizer.
Your meals on the boat are prepared in a clean environment.
In the event of bad weather, we will notify you in advance and cancel all trips.
