Visa on arrival for UAE residents:

Oman Single Entry Visit Visa Cost:
Everyone entering Oman from the UAE needs to pay 5 Omr as the Oman visit visa fee and 35 AED as the UAE exit fee. The Government of Oman also issues online visas at https://evisa.rop.gov.om.
UAE Single Entry Visa:
It is not allowed to cross the border if you have UAE single entry visa as your UAE visa will be canceled while exiting.

Personal car:
If you want to visit with a personal car, make sure you have all the necessary documents, such as car registration (mulkya) and insurance. If your car insurance does not include Oman coverage, you will need to purchase it at the border. Insurance charges: 100 AED per car. You cannot travel with a friend, company, or family member without a NOC letter from the court.
Rental Car
Take the NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the rental company if you have a rental car; otherwise, the UAE border would not let you exit the country.
Dubai to Khasab Travel Time
It normally takes 3.5 hours from Dubai to Khasab, including the border formalities. Make sure to depart early if there is a special event, such as the UAE holidays, Eid holidays, or a long weekend, as the border will be crowded.
