Khasab Beach Camping Itinerary
Khasab beach camping is a popular outdoor activity in Musandam, Oman, that allows you to experience the beauty of the region’s coastline and immerse yourself in nature. Here is the detailed itinerary for the overnight Khasab Musandam beach camping trip with a full-day dhow cruise.
09:30 AM or 04:30 PM Reporting Time
It is recommended to leave before 6:00 a.m. for the morning full-day dhow cruise and beach camping once you finish the day trip. Leave at 1 p.m. If you choose a 4:30 p.m. schedule: first at the campsite and the second day a full-day dhow cruise. If you are coming from Dubai, because it takes 3.5 hours to reach Khasab Musandam, Oman, from Dubai, including the border processing.
10:00 AM Departure from the port
We depart around 10:00 a.m. from the port. Khasab port itself presents such a fantastic view of its surroundings. If you join us for a full-day dhow trip, make sure you arrive on time. Our team will greet you when you arrive and will provide you soft drinks, plain water, coffee, and tea. Now is the time to start this beautiful voyage that you will surely remember for the rest of your life.
10:45 AM Dolphin Watching
Dolphins are regarded as one of the most remarkable animals on the planet. These dolphins are wild, yet they still show up when your boat approaches where they reside since they love humans and have a very friendly nature. Prepare to delight in dolphin viewing while sailing through the Musandam Fjords. Your day will be made by dolphins if they follow the dhow. A full-day Khasab Musandam dhow cruise’s thrilling activity has always been natural dolphin watching.
11:30 AM Swimming at Telegraph Island
The Telegraph Island is our first stop for swimming and snorkeling. You can do swimming and snorkeling in Musandam’s crystal-clear waters as soon as we reach there. This is the best place inside the fjords to swim and snorkel. Sea reefs and numerous kinds of colorful fish may be visible. We give you life jackets and gear for snorkeling. Please bring your own shorts or swimwear.
01:00 PM Lunch onboard.
After enjoying swimming and snorkeling, you might have felt hungry. As soon as you’ve finished swimming, we’ll start serving lunch. On board, we have a delicious traditional Omani lunch waiting for you. Your onboard meal will include fried chicken, fried rice, salad, Khubz (Arabic bread), hummus, fruits, and soft drinks.
01:30 PM toward Seebi Island
When you’ve finished eating, we’ll leave for Seebi Island. Once again, this is a fantastic location for swimming and snorkeling. The second location is where we go swimming and snorkeling to enjoy the quiet waters of Musandam.
04:00 AM Drop off at the campsite
After enjoying swimming and snorkeling, we will leave for the beach campsite around 3:30 p.m. Here, the full-day dhow cruise will come to an end, and campsite fun will start. The staff will welcome you to the campsite and guide you through the camping arrangements accordingly.
7:00 PM BBQ Dinner
If it is not too windy, you can enjoy the live BBQ at the campsite around 7:00 p.m. We also serve you ready-to-eat barbecue food. For dinner, you can have chicken tikka, chicken kebab, beef kebab, grilled fish, rice, Arabic bread, fresh salad, hummus, and vegetable curry.
7:30 AM Breakfast at the campsite
You will be provided with a breakfast on the campsite the following morning that includes bread, scrambled eggs, jam, yogurt, bottled juices, plain water, coffee, and tea.
8:30 AM Arrival at Khasab Port
The camping excursion will come to an end once you’ve had breakfast. Right now, a speedboat will take us to the Khasab dhow port. We’ll bid you goodbye with beautiful memories and hope you’ll come on another of our spectacular journeys.
