Visa Requirements

When visiting Oman, make sure your original passports are valid for at least three months. You can obtain a visa at the border or apply online at the Oman e-visa website.

UAE Residents

Both a three-month valid passport and a UAE resident visa are required for UAE citizens. Before you travel, please let us know the status of your visa.

Sponsored Visa

Your sponsor needs to be traveling with you if you have a sponsored (dependent) visa.

Rental Cars

To travel to Khasab, Oman, please obtain a NOC (No Object Certificate) from your rental company. Without a NOC letter from the rental agency, border authorities will not let you enter Oman.

Personal Cars
  • You can drive your own vehicle. Your driver’s license and your vehicle must be in a valid registration (mulkya).
  • Without a NOC, you are not permitted to borrow a car from friends, family, or your employer in order to travel to Khasab, Oman.
  • You can purchase Oman auto insurance for 100 AED at the border.
