Tourists from all over the world can visit Khasab Musandam if they are eligible for an on-arrival visa for Oman and the UAE. An Oman visa is free depending on your nationality. The UAE exit fee is 35 AED per person. For more info visit our guidelines page.

Visa Requirements

Keep your original passports valid for a minimum of 3 months while traveling to Oman. You can obtain a visa at the border or apply online at the Oman e-visa website.

UAE Residents

UAE residents must have a 3-month valid UAE resident visa and a 3-month valid passport. Kindly let us know your visa status before traveling.

Rental Cars

Kindly take an NOC (No Object Certificate) from your rental agency to travel to Khasab, Oman. Border authority does not allow you to get into Oman without an NOC letter from the rental agency.

Personal Cars

You can travel with your personal car. Your car must have valid registration (mulkya) along with your driving license.
You cannot borrow a car from your family members, company, or friends to travel to Khasab, Oman, without NOC.
Oman car insurance—you can buy it from the border for 100 AED.
